Condition: Fine Takai Kozan was a patron of the arts and an admirer of Hokusai. Hokusai trekked to Obuse, Nagano four times between 1830 and 1849 to visit his mentor, patron and fellow painter, Takai Kozan. There he painted large outdoor works of art, among other works. The Takai Kozan Memorial Museum in Obuse, Nagano is a museum housing works by Hokusai and Takai Kozan and stands on the original site of Kozan's house.
